How did you feel by the end of the podcast? What was your reaction to the production?
At the end of the the podcast, I felt like the story was different from the Disney version in the sense of it being more dark. The production was great for this type of story. The reader sounded like an old man which gave me the feeling of a grandparent telling me the story. It almost lulled me to sleep until I realized it was almost time to eat dinner.
What method(s) did the author use to accomplish this? What literary elements or special effects did the producers employ to elicit this reaction? Hans Christian Anderson made the story very descriptive with imagery that build the scene in my head. He also uses metaphors and similes that add to the imagery.
