Eleanor (terrified) hiding in her bedroom closet while searching for something. Creaking sounds can be heard in the background.

INT. PUBLIC SPACE - EVENING
Eleanor is on a date with a young man and messages her friend (Luna) on the situation. She looks happy and smitten.

A the end of the date, her date gets the coat for her and left.

INT. ELEANOR HOUSE - NIGHT
She parked her car in her driveway and headed to the house while on her phone with Luna.


ELEANOR
(Giggling)

He then, reached for my coat and put it on me.
LUNA
ooh, Romantic.


ELEANOR
(Smitten)
I know.
LUNA
So, did you kiss?
ELEANOR
(Blushing)
LUNA!!! it’s the first date.
She turns the lights on, took off her shoes and went to the basement after turning the lights off.

INT. ELEANORS BEDROOM - NIGHT
Laying on her bed with her robe on, she continuous to chat with Luna and school through her Facebook News feed.

ELEANOR
He’s so charming
LUNA
you said the same for all your previous dates
ELEANOR
HEY!!!
Door opening and Creaking sound coming from upstairs
ELEANOR
I think my parents are back from MIAMI
LUNA
wait, supposed to be tomorrow right?
ELEANOR
I’ll call you back
Eleanor got off her bed and turns her laptop off. She hangs up on Luna and calls her dad

ELEANOR’S DAD
Hey El
ELEANOR
Dad, are you back from MIAMI?
ELEANOR’S DAD
Nope, just checked in to a hotel.
the creaking sound could be heard again
ELEANOR
(terrified)
Dad, is mom back early?
ELEANOR’S DAD
No, is everything ok?
ELEANOR
(terrified)
Dad, I..I...I think there’s someone in the house
ELEANOR’S DAD
(worried)
lock your door and turn off your lights NOW. Put a towel by the door and turn your phone into silent mode.
Eleanor locked the door, turn the lights off, and did what her dad told her to do.
ELEANER
(terrified)
Dad, I’m scared
ELEANOR’S DAD
listen, do you still have the cordless/telephone hooked?
ELEANOR
no, I don’t use it anymore but I might have it in the room.
ELEANOR’S DAD
look for it and dial 9-1-1 right now.
ELEANER
(puzzled)

ELEANOR’S DAD

He hangs up on Eleanor
ELEANOR
Dad, wait…
she uses her phone’s flashlight to look for the telephone

INT. ELEANORS BEDROOM - NIGHT
Terrified, Eleanor found what she was looking for, hooked it to the cable input and dialed 9-1-1.
FIRST RESPONDER
9-1-1 what’s your emergency?
ELEANOR
(scared)
I think there’s someone in my house!

FIRST RESPONDER
okay, could that be anyone you know? Does anyone have the keys to your house?
ELEANOR
(scared)
Only me and my parents, and they’re in MIAMI.
FIRST RESPONDER
okay Ms., responders will be there in 20 minutes so please stay somewhere safe.
ELEANOR
(crying)
oh please, please make it sooner. I’m scared
FIRST RESPONDER
Ms, our responders are all far away from your location. so please stay quiet.
Eleanor hangs up her phone and sat quietly in the corner of the closet with her hands covering her mouth. Creaking sounds could be heard again and some other sounds could be heard. A few moments later, siren sounds could be heard. Lots of footsteps and shouting can be heard from upstairs. A few minutes later a loud bang on her door. Eleanor scared and muffled crying louder.
COP
Open up, this is Officer Brian from the Mankato Police department.
Eleanor relieved and rushed to the door.
COP
Mam, you’re safe now. The intruder escaped and the other cops are after him.
ELEANOR
(puzzled)
What’s happening, the 9-1-1 responder said the cops will be here in 20 minutes.
COP
Mam, don’t be scared. When you dialed 9-1-1, the responder heard someone breathing from another line in the house. The 9-1-1 responder brilliantly caught that and informed us immediately. We saw another phone upstairs in the kitchen where he eavesdropped you and a set of knives lined up next to it.

Several days later in another public place. A girl named Stella walked into the building and headed towards a table.
STELLA
Hi, sorry I’m late for our first date.

Camera slowly fades towards the date which revealed to be the same guy who Eleanor went on a date with. He was also the intruder that was in Eleanor’s house. He managed to follow Eleanor's home but did not expect the cops to be there sooner. He escaped, deleted his profile and messages. Now, he is targeting his next victim.
