Büyükbabası henüz 70’li yaşlarındayken ölümün pençesine yakalanır, oysaki kullandığı ilaçlar ve vücudundaki kanser oranı ölümcül değildir. Aryan büyükbabasının ölümüne çok içerler ve her gününü daha iyi bir ilaç bulmaya adar. Bir gün firmada iş arkadaşlarının Seduce adlı ilaç hakkındaki sohbetine kulak misafiri olur, bu ilaç aynı zamanda büyükbabasının kullandığı ilaçtır. Arkadaşlarının sohbetinden öğrenir ki ilaç henüz hazır değilken rekabet amaçlı piyasaya sürülmüş ve bazı yan etkileri hafifletilerek anlatılmıştır. Seduce, tedavi amaçlı kullanılsa bile çok az bir sürede kanser hücrelerini ölüme sebep olacak şekilde tetikleyebilen bir ilaçtır; büyükbabasının ölümüne de bu sebep olmuştur. Aryan, öğrendiği gerçeklerin sonucunda bir soruyla -belki de ikilemle- yaşmak zorundadır; ağacı mı düşünmeli yoksa ormanı mı?
