App related:-

(Android)

Restart the device

-Smartphones are just like computers. They have Processes and Services running in the background and need a restart regularly (At least once a week). If these processes and services are running for a long time without a restart, they may cause issues.
-Restarting your device gives it a fresh start and is sometimes all you need to fix your issue.

Check for System Update (OTA)

-Check if the device has an OTA update available.
-Open your device's main Settings menu.
Select About or System updates (depending on your device, this may be different).
If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your device.

Update the App

-App updates can provide enhancements and security improvements that may fix the issue. To check to see if there's an update for the app.

Open Play Store
In the Search box, look for Flipkart and open it.
If available, tap Update.

-Now check if the issue is resolved

Force Stop and Clear Cache & Data

Pull down the notification menu.
Open Settings
Scroll down and choose Apps.
Scroll down and tap Flipkart.
Now tap these options as shown in the screenshot, one by one.

Reboot the device and try using the Flipkart App again.

-Reboot to safe mode

-Rebooting in Safe mode will only load the Android system apps and help us understand if the issue is with any third-party app.

Press and hold the power button.
Tap and Hold Power Off option.
In the pop-up window tap OK to reboot into Safe Mode.
Once rebooted, the home screen should have a safe mode icon.
Now, open ONLY Flipkart app and check if it works in Safe Mode.
Note: To return back to normal mode, just reboot the device.

Perform a Factory Reset

Inform the customer about possible data loss.
If required, have the customer backup data.
Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
If applicable, remove the SD Card from the device to prevent accidental formatting while resetting.

Pull down the notification menu.
Open Settings
Scroll down and choose Backup & reset.
Tap Factory data reset.
Do NOT check "Erase stored content. Tap Reset Phone.
If prompted, input the Security pattern lock, Pin or Password.
Tap Reset Now.
Help the customer Setup the device.
After setup, download the Flipkart App.

Note: During setup after the reset, please make sure the customer doesn't restore the settings. Inform the customer to set it up as a new device. (Some Settings or Apps might be the root cause of the actual issue).

Also, request the customer not to install apps from unknown sources like third-party websites or through SHAREit. Apps must be downloaded only from the Google Play Store.

(Apple IOS)

-Reboot the device

Reboot the device by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears

-Close and restart the app

Double tap the Home button to launch the multitasking window
Swipe across the Flipkart app to close it
Launch the app again from the Home screen.

-Uninstall & Reinstall the app

Press & hold the Flipkart app icon on the Home screen
Once all icons start shaking or wiggling, press the X to uninstall the app

Go to App Store, download and install the Flipkart app again

2.Go to Settings
3.Tap General
4.Tap Software Update
5.Check if iOS updates are available


iOS - Perform a factory reset

Note:

Please inform the customer that this might erase all data from the device.
Ask customer to backup important information before proceeding.

Note: During setup after the reset, please make sure the customer doesn't restore the settings. Inform the customer to set it up as a new device. (Some Settings or Apps might be the root cause of the actual issue).

Also, request the customer not to install apps from unknown sources like third-party websites or through SHAREit. Apps must be downloaded only from the App Store.

2.Tap General
3.Scroll down to the bottom and tap Reset

Website related:-

(Desktop Website)

Clear Cache & Temp files

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the settings,
2. Check the Boxes and click on Clear Browsing Data to clear the cache and temp files.

Now check if the website is loading.

(Mobile Website)

Clear Browsing for browser

Flipkart mobile Website is only works in Portrait mode and Landscape mode is not supported

1. Open Chrome
2. Tap on the Menu Icon in the left top corner
3. Select History
4. Tap on Clear Browsing data
5. Tap on Clear data to clear all data (make sure the from begining of time is selected).
