#Networking and #BuildingYour#Brand "#PaysOff"

When applying for my first rounds of #internships, I was turned away from gaining a potential internship with @Zurich North America. I was #disappointed, #discouraged, and not very #hopeful for another opportunity to arise with this company. One year later, I gained 'real-world' experience through an #internship with @Gallagher. I learned more about myself, figured out my desires to come out of a career, and I learned about the #insurance industry (through brokerage). Soon later, I had another chance to apply with new companies for a second internship. I applied, again, with #Zurich. Unsure of how my second set of interviews went, I didn't know if it was enough to get hired. Little did I know, two years of #persistence, #hardwork and #selfrealization had finally paid off.

I'm finally proud to announce that I have accepted an offer to work under the guidance of Ms. @Mary Ryan and her _____________ team with @Zurich Financial Services throughout the summer of 2020. I would like to thank several people that have helped further develop my professional career and who helped me even receive an offer with this company (see comments below).

@Ben Parisi, thank you for taking me under your guidance and pushing me to remain persistent within an organization such as Zurich. #Lesson learned: Networking can happen in the strangest of ways, such as working out at 4:45AM for four (4) consecutive summers. #Building your #Brand occurs even when no one is watching.
