Notes

Encounter 1:
Ambush within a canyon. Explosion causes rocks to fall preventing us from retreating OR rocks and boulders were prepared and dropped from above to block the exit. We could even do a minigame of dodging the falling rocks. We are now boxed in and can only go further through the canyon however there are 2 challenges. 1: Kobolds, goblins, house agents (whatever) confront us from the only opening in the canyon. 2: There is a sink hole in the middle of the canyon floor, probably activated by erosion due to the canyon cave in. Every 12 turns of combat the sink hole slowly gets larger (it can either engulf the entire floor of the area or it can reach a max radius and we have to traverse the small area around it). So the enemies engage us, we have to kill the 2-3 waves of them quickly before the sink hole gets too big/we get yeeted into it.

Encounter 2:
We're in some place with long hallways, old castle, ancient library, mansion etc... who knows. Maybe everyone is dead and we have to search through, or the person who lives there is alive BUT the main encounter is a giant bull or giant warthog that barrels down the hallways. The bull/warthog is heavily armored and is zooming around. We can either roll to dodge or accept getting hit and maybe do some damage (although it should probably have some beafy health) or even try to jump on top of it. I think the armor should give it advantage on resisting magic if not being entirely immune to spells. Maybe we make a grid of hallways, we have to search for something in the place or kill the owner who may be life bonded to the armored beast in order to kill it.

Encounter 3:
If someone murderhobos and kills a merchant, if we rifle through his/her stuff we might find out they're actually an important member of a cult/a temple/something and they are given the honor of joining the council. It would have been their first time seeing any of the other members face to face if they hadn't been murdered but the meeting is extremely important, or maybe just promises good loot for us. They're expected to attend in 2 days time. The meeting they have to attend is likely important, enough so that we have to do something about this person (frame a death, go to the meeting pretending to be that person, whatever).

Encounter 4:
Bank heist. I mean, we gotta do a heist. This might be the hardest one you would have to do, but if you want to take the layout of a bank from Payday we can probably just use that.


Also throughout the campaign can there be this monster, dragon, sea monster, giant worm whatever that we encounter many times but never directly attack or interact with. Like maybe we see it in the distance once, next time we hear warnings about it. After that maybe we actually see it killing a group of enemies/friendlies. We would probably have to sneak around it if we ever find it perched on an abandoned castle or resting in a field. Maybe we never actually kill it.
