5. Menurut Profesor Severus: ramuan dapat menyihir pikiran, ( menjerat indera ), dan bahkan menghentikan kematian.
- Apothecary merupakan tempat yang menjual items di Hogwarts.
- Items sendiri merupakan salah satu alat penunjang duel yang pada umumnya berbentuk ramuan, walaupun tidak semuanya. Biasanya digunakan sebagai penambah Health atau Magic Point, membangunkan duelist yang pingsan saat duel, melindungi diri dan bisa digunakan untuk menyerang lawan.
