Hi everyone, today i will talk about poverty around the world
I think the biggest mistake when talking about this issue is that the speech is not based on data
I want to share some numbers before talking about causes.

According to united nations the top %1 of the world's richest people control %48(fourty eight %) of the world's total wealth.
Also the richest eighty people in the world control as much wealth as the poorest half of the world's population.
Today worlds richest country is luxembourg by per capita income . According to world bank luxembourg is four hundred twenty eight times richer than zimbabwe.

Actually at first look these numbers may mean nothing to us, but this is very impartant. It is important to ask why are so many people in poverty.

Some 795(seven hundred ninety five) million people in the world do not have enough food to lead a healthy active life. That's about one in seven people on earth.
According to United Nations, about 25.000 people die every day hunger or hunger related causes, unfortunately usually children.
Now let's talk about why the world is in this situation today

Geography is one of the main reasons determining per capita income. People in Central Africa and the Middle East cannot even find water to drink.
Wars also make people poor. People who are living in a country at war, cannot even find food.

The another reason is high unemployment rate, today even in strong countries, the unemployment rate is increasing day by day. Unemployed people can't pay their debts, their morgage, their children's school expenses and this brings poverty.

Finally, natural disasters can cause poverty. Natural disasters such as tsunamis and earthquakes can cause people to lose what they have.
After natural disasters, people begin to suffer poverty for a long time.


nowadays a lot of people say that population growth leads to poverty but I disagree with this claim
i don't know how can they know that, we don't even share what we already have. almost eighty percent of the world's population shares a tranche of ten percent.

all in all when I decided to investigate it, I realized that social issues were interdependent. If there is no human right this brings poverty, if there is no social justice it means there is no welfare too. I think its kind of chain and goverments don't care about it, thats why nations fail.
