Them: "What manner of creature are you?"

Eve: You smile and point a finger to the horns as you tilt your head to the side. "I'm a demon! Of course, I mean, we don't all look like this. Most of us don't, really. I could've just come in looking like a normal human or whatever, but that's boring! I drew this little body up myself!" You give a thumbs up. "What do you think? Pretty cool, eh?" He'd be able to notice how sharp your teeth and nails are.

Them: "Well horns could point to a few things, and you certainly don't look infernal to me. It's of your own make? You have good taste."

Eve: You blush, a weird blue-y color against your black skin. "Aw, shucks. You flatter me. Anyway, I'm probably just not what you'd expect in terms of whatever demon-y races you've got where you're from. I mean, we're from different times, planes, etc. after all! Demons aren't necessarily physical beings, but we can come up to some of the planes as ones. The further we go from our home plane, which is known as The Reality of the Damned, The Everlasting Inferno, or just the Underworld if you're a boring shmuck, generally the weaker our powers get and the weaker our forms get! Where we are right now isn't too far from the Underworld, but I don't like to go around bragging about my power. I'm just a fun-loving little demon girl as it stands, and I'm not looking to change that school of thought for anyone. Secondly, in our plane, we exist as incorporeal beings! Souls, if you would--but that's a loose term, since we're VERY different from the souls you guys have!-" You poke his breastplate, aiming in the vague direction of his 'soul'--which for most mortals starts somewhere near the heart, but for quite a few stems from the brain (You're assuming his is the heart, since he used to be a warrior and all)-- "-We're more like...hmm...I guess the best way to describe it would be little pockets of existence! We can float around, alter things, interact with each other, but only through shared projected images. If you aren't native to our plane, you'd see yourself as a ball of consciousness floating around in an endless fire, seemingly empty. Really, we're probably all just hiding from you. The Big Man'll probably stop ya and ask you why you're here---and, golly is his image just the most terrifying!--and if you end up somehow hitting the soul barrier you'll either bounce off of it like a ball, or get kinda...torn apart. It's hard to describe, since I've never done it! I'm a little dim, but I'm not stupid, haha! But yeah! It's a weird little place we've got going on down there. We don't really call ourselves anything that translates into common very well, since we speak kinda similarly to the way that you see--it'd be like a whole bunch of bright light hitting your face unless we were translating for ya like I am--so most of the Overworld races call us demons, since we've got a lot of forms that look like infernals and whatnot." You notice you've been taking for a while and awkwardly clear your throat. "Ah, uh. My bad. I tend to talk a lot."
