Hello fellow JoJo fans. I don't know if you guys remember me but I was the girl who said that was trying an internship at an event where Kohei Ashiya (Part 5 lead animator) was going to be a guest. Sadly, I didn't get the internship BUT they made an animation class with the one and only and they open up for questions so we got to squeeze some stuff from the guy.

- About Stone Ocean: there is nothing confirmed yet, but he said that there is a chance. He asked to people keep asking on social media so the studio can see there is a real interest in a sixth part.

- About Purple Haze Feedback (AND I MUST SAT THAT HIS EYES LIGHTENED UP WHEN I ASKED IT WAS SO CUTE!!!!!): He also said that there is nothing confirmed but he shared a cool story that when the newest Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe OVA was announced, there was a press conference with the Vento Áureo cast, and Fugo's VA was really confused that they weren't announcing PHF, and said that he was totally available to do it whenever they want. I must remember that PHF is really beloved in Japan, so we might see it someday? Hopefully so, he looked really happy that someone brought up the book.

- About Steel Ball Run: some guy asked about it and I thought it was cool to share. Kohei said that SBR would be really expensive to make it since most of the action are horse racing and it's really hard to animate. When asked about CGI he said that it would break the JoJo style of animation, so he rather not use it. So I think it's going to take a while after SO (if we get it) to animate. I'm kinda glad he said that about CGI tho.

Some random trivia:

- He said the hardest characters to animate were Avdol and Narancia. Mista deserves a honourable mention, but he's not hard to draw, but his clothes are too much detailed to animate. About Narancia, he said that his hair is so messy it's hard to draw because it's always changing. Avdol was because his hair it's more object-like so he had to worry about proportion.

- He said his favorite to animate was Polnareff because, and I swear that it's a direct quote from the translator: "because he has few clothes". He also had fun with Bruno, his suit is detailed but he found him really easy to draw.

- The 8-Page Muda scene from Giorno had a whole 8 people team to animate
- I asked about Oingo Boingo's arc and he couldn't remember if he worked on it or not. Sad. :(

- He is really fan of Beatles and Aerosmith.

- Each JoJo episode gets around 30k drawings to animate. And he does it. Each. One.

- He sleeps around 2h per day.
