Customers can book Hotels, Bus tickets & Flights (Domestic and international) through the 'Flights, Hotel & Bus' flyout menu on Flipkart App
Customers will be asked whether MMT can access their email and phone number
Customers click on 'YES': He will see a screen with his/her Name, Email, Phone Number & DOB. Customer can edit the same if he/she finds it incorrect followed by clicking on 'Allow' button
Customers click on 'NO': A pop up will appear asking him to allow, else he/she will not be allowed to continue the transaction (customers will be prompted to accept the terms 2 times after which they will be directed to the home page)
As soon as customer allows MMT to access the above details, he/she will receive a OTP on his/her email ID for email ID verification
Once email ID is verified with correct OTP, customer will land to MMT interface
Once customer is within MMT interface, he/she can make all the actions (search, browse, booking etc) that MMT interface supports
Post check out, he/she can see the order under 'My Orders' section of Flipkart
Customer will receive ticket confirmation details via Email & SMS from MMT
If customer wants to cancel the ticket then he/she can do it either from 'My Orders' section on Flipkart App


1 Where can I see offers that are applied to my MakeMyTrip booking?
Once you select an offer while booking, you will see a message stating that the offer has been successfully applied to your booking. If the offer is about instant discount, you will see the discount being applied at the time of making the payment. In case the discount is not applied instantly, you will receive a cashback for the discount amount as per the terms and conditions opartf that offer.Please get in touch with MakeMyTrip at 1800 102 8747 for more offer related details.


2 Can I use PhonePe for MakeMyTrip transactions?
No, PhonePe cannot be used for MakeMyTrip transactions at the moment.


3 Why don’t I see ’Cash on Delivery’ as a payment mode for MakeMyTrip?
Cash on delivery as a payment option is not available with MakeMyTrip. Please reach out to MakeMyTrip at 1800 102 8747 for more details.


4 Where will I receive the refund in case I cancel/reschedule my MakeMyTrip booking?
If your booking is cancelled/rescheduled, the refund will be credited to the initial mode of payment that was used at the time of booking.


5 How can I cancel/reschedule a flight?
You can modify/cancel your booking from the ‘My Orders’ section of your Flipkart app. However, please keep in mind that charges like date

6 How will I know if my booking on MakeMyTrip has been confirmed?
An e-ticket is instantly sent to your email address as soon as you successfully complete your booking. Please check your inbox including junk and spam folders to ensure you have received the e-ticket. Alternatively, you can also visit 'My Orders' section of your Flipkart app to download the e-ticket. In case, you’re not able to find the e-ticket, please get in touch with MakeMyTrip at 1800 102 8747 and they will surely help you out.


7 What is the ‘Travel’ section on your app?
‘Travel’ section allows you to access other apps from the Flipkart app without having to download those apps individually. This helps you save storage space on your phone and prevents the hassle of multiple logins. You can also access your saved payments from one app and enjoy exclusive offers.

8 Will I get points in my MakeMyTrip wallet?
Since MakeMyTrip wallet cannot be used for transactions, points will not be provided to the MakeMyTrip wallet.


9 Can I access MakeMyTrip wallet from Flipkart app?
No, MakeMyTrip wallet cannot be accessed from the Flipkart app.

COD to prepaid

To help customers pay for their purchases without cash, Self-serve will allow customers to convert their CoD orders to Prepaid orders. However, this option is available through Self-serve and only after the order is placed with COD payment option

When is the payment conversion possible?

When the order is between "Approved" to "Out for delivery"
When the order is "Out for Delivery (OFD)" (only for PhonePe payments)
When the order is between 'Approved' to 'Out for delivery': Customers will get a notification to change the payment mode from COD to prepaid/ or they will have a 'Paynow' option on web/ app under track your order page.

Below are the eligibility criteria to avail the COD to Prepaid payment conversion:

Orders with a single unit
From 'Approved till dispatched', the COD to POD option is available for all courier service providers. Once the item is 'Dispatched till OFD', the COD to POD option is available only for Ekart shipments
The status of the order is between 'Approved to OFD'
Current payment mode is COD (Cash on Delivery)
Customers can change the payment mode through Self-serve (web/app) or using the link provided to customers via an/SMS
Payment methods available are:

Debit Card
Credit card
Netbanking
PhonePe payments
Steps to make payment:

You will see a new button 'PAY NOW' on web/ App under 'Track your order' page. as shown below only if all the above criterias are met:
Once you click on this button, a new page will open up with the list of payment options
You will have the option to select from Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card to make the payment. (EMI, EGV payment, BNPL method will not be available)
Once the payment is successful, you will be redirected to the 'Order Details' page with the new payment mode and appropriate message.
Payment information will be sent to EKL and payment mode will be updated to prepaid, so that EKL will not ask the customer for payment at the time of delivery
If the payment is unsuccessful/ fails, the customer will see a failure message and can retry the payment after 30 mins

Condition Assessor' is a new inbuilt feature in the Flipkart app for product exchange which allows customers to run a series of test on their mobile phones that is being exchanged and offer them the best exchange price based on the phone's condition.




Important points:

The 'Condition Assessor' is currently available ONLY for select mobile phones and is not available for any Windows or Apple phones
To get the best price, customers must place the exchange order from the device he/she wants to exchange from the latest version of Flipkart app on the playstore
The mobile's IMEI number must be registered with Flipkart
If the 'Condition Assessor' test fails, customers will be allowed to re-test the phone by selecting 'Retest' option
It's optional for customers to provide old accesories at the time of delivery

You can now use the inbuilt condition assessor on the Flipkart app and run a series of tests to get the best discount based on the performance of your phone.

The condition assessor runs a series of automated and semi-automated tests (On Product page - tap on "Get upto Rs. X off on Exchange")
This works for mobile to mobile exchange only and the customer should have the latest Flipkart app on the device that he/she is choosing to exchange
