I understand this is a frustrating issue but when one order is cancelled the restaurant, the driver doesn't get their payment. The restaurant spent his money and items and get nothing, the driver spent gas and gets nothing. We can cancel just in specific scenarios and we need to accommodate with the restaurant and the driver. It's something complicated, not to justify this but, yes we are here to help but we are not always able to complete some request as the way you want.
