Right now I'm so happy for the way our relationship is and how it kind of is an enigma of connections and relationships and definitions and technicalities. All of these complications kind of make it a very special, intricate, and intimate thing that we share together, and it's a really unique experience. Who else would I want to experience it with? None other than you :)
A couple of months ago I told myself that I would try to be more grateful for the things I take for granted in my life, and you were almost becoming one of them. I became complacent with the things that were special, which made me lose the spark a little bit.
But never fear! Winter break rolled around, and hanging out with a lot of other people and connecting with a ton of new faces really helped me to alleviate the emotional burden that I had for my own feelings.
As it is today, I am really happy with our relationship and kind of our independence. Surely it would be nice if we could see each other more often, but there's something magical about the interaction every few days and then the times where we can be very intentional and intimate with each other, no matter how restricted our time is. After all, it's quality over quantity, right?
