CHAPTER-1
INTRODUCTION
• This project is a web based Intelligent Support System that provides support to the customer queries for their products / services from the subject matter experts in their respective area. The objective is to provide quick and reliable customer support service by engaging subject matter experts to provide most relevant response to the customer queries.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
• The objective of this project is to provide quick and reliable customer support service by engaging subject matter to provide most relevant response to the customer queries. So in order to provide such an application, complete web support and data management system must be provided.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
• The core idea of this web application is provide a support system where a user can ask for queries and the queries will be answered by the subject matter expert.
• The queries,user and expert details will be stored on a Relational Database Management System(RDBMS).









PROJECT SCOPE:
• This web based Intelligent Support System looks forward to facilitate quick and reliable customer support service.
• The application is designed into three modules.
1) First is the user module who will ask queries and the queries will be classified based on it's type.
2) Second is the expert module who will be divided into different categories based on their profession and the expert will answer the queries of users based on the category in which they belong. The expert will also get some points as a reward for answering the queries.
3) Third is the admin module who is responsible for tracking the proper flow of queries related data from both user and expert side. Also admin can grant some priviledges to the expert if required. Once the queries will get answered, reports will be generated(Weekly,Monthly or Yearly) at admin side.

2. SYSTEM ANALYSIS :
System analysis is the process of gathering and interpreting facts, diagnosing problems and using the information to recommend improvements on the system. System analysis is a problem solving activity that requires intensive communication between the system users and system developers.

2.1 EXISTING SYSTEM :
The current system deals with the problems of solving the customer query manually or physically which is tedious task in solving problem.
1. It is less user-friendly.
2. User must have to go to expert for solving problem.
3. It is a time consuming process
4. Limited information achieved.

2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM:
In the proposed system user need not go to expert for solving the query.Users can post their queries and can receive the responce from the expert through means of our application.

2.3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION:

2.3.2 Software Requirement
• Visual studio 2017: 2GB RAM(Minimum), 2GB ROM
• SQL Server Management Studio: 2GB RAM(Minimum), 2GB ROM
