You can tell me every terrible thing you’ve ever done, and at the end of the day I will still love you. There’s nothing in your past that can stop me from loving you in the present. You can tell me everything, all your hopes and dreams, your fears and weaknesses. And at the end of the day, I will love you still. You are incredible. I sometimes feel like I keep running out of the right words to describe you. It’s as if all the languages in the world could come up with all these beautiful words to describe you, and yet none of them can even come close to finding the right word to describe you. The world is a messy place. Whether you look at it from a distance or from up close, you’ll see all the hurt that people do to each other on a daily basis. Even in my own mind, there’s chaos in there. But when I met you, I have experienced a peace I have never known before. There’s a kind of calmness that makes me really see everything with clarity. I just wanted you to know that you were my first thought this morning. Before that, you were my last thought before I went to sleep. Before that, you filled my day with memories of all the great moments we shared. And before all those great memories were made, there was nothing. It’s as if my life started, truly started, the moment I met you. I’m not one for romance. In truth, I suck at it. I can’t write a love letter for the life of me; just ask my English teacher. But there is one thing I know how to do, something I can do well. And that is to love you. And when I really think about it, it’s possibly one of the most natural things I’ve ever done in my life. Loving you feels like the most natural thing to do. Next to breathing, it’s loving you that keeps me alive. You give my life meaning that I never knew I needed before I met you. I’m so glad I’ve found you. In this world filled with billions of people, I found the one person whom I can truly call mine – the only one I’ll ever need in this lifetime.
