I love walking around in the vents on the meteor. Its usually nice and quite and it also helps with my curiosity. I crawl down part of the vent ive never been down before. I hear two trolls talking and I crawl a little further and look down at an opening. Its karcat and terezi. I can’t quit hear what their saying but I strain my ears and listen as closely as I can.
“Fuck terezi, you know this wont fucking work between us!”
“But karkles you never know it won’ work out if you don’t try it so just agree to it already”
“Fine! Whatever ill try to be your matesprit or whatever just don’t complain once its fails”
I don’t want to hear anything else. I quickly go down the vents trying not to cry. I fail at not crying and I end up getting lost somewhere in the vents. I just sit their and cry for what feels like forever. I wish I never went down the vents today and I wish that what I heard wasn’t real. I finally stop crying and wipe away my tears. How am I supposed to go around themk again without needing to cry! I hate how I feel red to karkat and I wish terezi knew how I felt because maybe then none of this would have happened. I walk further down the vent till I come to a dead end. I don’t bother looking out of the vents before I jump out.
“Fuck nep what the fuck were you doing in the goddamned vents!”
I jump at the voice and turn around, my eyes still poofy from crying.
“Oh um hi ampurra I was just umm taking a walk?”
“In the vents? And were you crying? Why the fuck were you crying?”
“Yes in the vents silly!” I try to sound as cheerfull as ever “I thought I should do something different and I wasn’t crying I was just umm…” I trail off not knowing what to say.
