It's not a pleasant death in the long run.

Basically, there are four characters at play here- the Ultimate Hacker, the Ultimate Vigilante, the Ultimate Spirit Medium, and the Ultimate Conartist. Although they don't know this, as their memories were erased, the Ultimate Hacker was the traitor in a sense- as they were the one who obtained all the information on everyone and kidnapped them, as well as hacking into the place to use as the killing game.

The Ultimate Conartist knew from the start something was up. She's not dumb and knew something as off, although she didn't tell anyone about her thoughts since she was too busy causing trouble for the trial- although nobody knew she was the ultimate conartist as she hid her talent with another one.

The Ultimate Hacker was reclusive and shy- they somehow managed to escape the introductions and only communicated via chat, where they made quick sort of friends with the Ultimate Vigilante. They only came out during the first trial.

During the second trial, though, the Ultimate Conartist died due to breaking a rule- as she managed to get into a offlimits room and had read a lot of information she shouldn't know, so she got killed and it being explained as such, although which rule she broke was never given out.

The Ultimate Spirit Medium, during this time, was trying to consult the spirits herself- or the killing games participants, since she thought she could figure a way out that way... She got possessed by the Ultimate Conartist, who was enraged, and just completely took over the Spirit Medium without anyone really noticing despite her behavior being different from that point on.

During this time, the Vigilante and the Hacker became friends. The hacker began to leave their room to spend time with people more even though they were kind of scared.

A day or so before the fifth trial, the Spirit Medium finally got control of her body again and was found unconscious outside of her room. People didn't check on the Hacker since they were more concerned with her.

The next day the Hacker was found brutally murdered in their room, with it being staged as if they committed suicide- and at first people assumed so. But, it was found out the Spirit Medium was the one who killed them and staged the entire thing- as although at first the hacker was willing to kill themself in order for everyone to escape, as there's a certain loophole in the rules, and due to the friendships they made they became more conscious of how others felt- so the Con Artist tried to stage it as a suicide, with the Spirit Medium having no memory of doing this actions, and got both of them executed.
