Naili, Neşati ve Şeyh Galip akımın en önemli temsilcileridir.
Türkîibasit Akımı
15. ve 16. yüzyıllarda etkili olan bir akımdır.
Çok fazla etkili olmamıştır.
Arapça-Farsça sözcüklerden kaçınarak Türkçeye yönelmişlerdir.
Mahallileşme
15. yüzyılda Necati’nin başlattığı bir akımdır.
Mahalli konular, günlük yaşayış şiire girmiştir.
Günlük konuşma dili, deyim ve atasözleri şiirde kullanılmıştır.
Akımın en başarılı temsilcisi 18. yüzyıl şairi Nedim’dir.
Baki, Nedim, Enderunlu Vasıf ve Şeyhülislam Yahya akımın temsilcileridir.
Hikemi (Hakimane) Şiir
17. yüzyılda ortaya çıkmıştır.
Düşünceye ağırlık veren, okuyucuyu uyaran, düşündüren ve aydınlatan şiirlerdir.
Anlatım kısa ve özlüdür.
Hikemi şiir akımının edebiyatımızdaki öncüsü Nabi'dir.
Bu tarzın Nabi’den sonraki en başarılı temsilcisi Koca Ragıp Paşa'dır.
