Sometimes I just don't quite understand high school girls. One minute they're all for one guy, and the next they're all for another. It's like they can never make up their mind. I know for a fact that I used to be that girl. I would "like" whoever paid the most attention to me at the time. That's apparently how it should work in this culture. Apparently girls can only be defined if they like a guy, they're talking to a guy, or if they're dating a guy. WRONG!! That's complete BOGUS! Nobody should feel obligated to date somebody just because everybody else is telling them to or because a certain guy/girl is giving them attention. I don't understand why girls can't just be friends with a guy anymore. You don't have to be dating to talk and hang out. One of my best friends who knows absolutely everything about me is a guy who's two years older than me. Why can't people just understand that a girl can be completely content without dating anybody. I just wish people understood that sometimes dating does more damage that being single does. God has a plan for all of us, and I'm perfectly fine with waiting until his timing comes for me to meet the right man. I would rather be single for years than be in a relationship when my guy comes along. I don't want to miss my opportunity to live the life God has planned out for me. I try to be faithful and get into the word daily, but sometimes it's hard. No matter what I spend at least five minutes with God, because I listen to my worship music on the way to school and that sets me in the right mood. My question is, why don't more people trust in him? What's so unbelievable about a man who loves you no matter what you may do and will continue to love you no matter what choices you make? There's nothing unbelievable about that. He's an amazing father and friend, and I cannot even begin to put everything together how much love I have for him and how many thanks I have given to him for all that he's done for me.
