China tepatnya di kota Wuhan, kini menjadi trending topic dunia. Bukan karena budaya atau pariwisatanya melainkan karna munculnya virus corona. Disebut sebagai tempat persebarannya virus corona. Memiliki luas 1,528 kilometer persegi, Wuhan yang menjadi ibu kota dari Provinsi Hubei ini dikarantina dengan begitu ketat. Dan untuk pertama kalinya akses kota ini ditutup agar virus corona tidak tersebar semakin luas. China juga telah memperketat dan melakukan pembatasan perjalanan bagi penduduknya untuk mencegah penyebaran virus.
Menurut laporan terbaru Komisi Kesehatan Provinsi Hubei, dilansir dari kantor berita AFP, terpantau jumlah orang yang terinfeksi di dunia semakin meningkat, pada hari ini 28 Januari 2020 terkonfirmasi bertambah hampir 1.300, dengan angka total infeksi melampaui 4.000, dengan 106 orang telah dinyatakan meninggal. Disusul dengan Sri Lanka, Jerman dan Kamboja mengonfirmasi kasus virus corona pertama yang terjadi di negara tersebut. Jadi, sekarang tercatat 16 negara yang telah terdeteksi virus corona.
Informasi mengenai penyebaran virus ini pun terus diperbarui. Seperti yang dilansir dari salah satu media pemerintah setempat, yakni People’s Daily, China yang dapat diikuti di Twitter dengan username @PDChina.
