When I should be worrying about what I do before my head rests.
I shouldn't worry about finishing
I should be worried about how I do on my test
I should be thinking of were my fate lies
Am I gonna spend eternity in heaven or hell when I die?
Am I gonna see death or is gonna catch me by surprise?
Am I mentally ready to cease to exist?
And then brought back to life from the bone in my fist?
Have I done enough good? Or does evil outweigh that list?
I'm asking my self question I'm too scared to answer
Because I know my sins are spreading like cancer
I need the veils lifted, I need to see. Visual enhancer
I need to see clearly where am I going wrong
So I can fix my life cuz who knows if the road is long
Because if I die now would I have finished the test strong?
I sit down, think and the tears want to flow
I feel ashamed of myself and I don't know where to go
Is this time really gonna change me or am I stuck in status quo?
As I think I remember something my father once mentioned
lf I struggle for Allah and Allah will release your tension
Now the road is hard my son so please pay attention
First keep Allah in ur eyes whether you go left or right
Get accustomed to darkness because it precedes the light
Battle the devil within you in this long lasting fight
battle oppression everywhere even if its from your closest friend
Cuz the battle with evil is one that won't ever end
