Pada tahun terakhirnya di Ouran High School, Tamaki pergi ke Boston untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya bersama member Ouran Host Club yang lain. Kepergiannya ke Boston membuatnya harus meninggalkan pekerjaan sampingannya di HMC. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikannya di Boston, Tamaki memutuskan kembali ke Jepang untuk memenuhi kewajibannya membantu kerajaan bisnis keluarga Suoh.
Sebuah undangan dari tempatnya dulu bekerja sebagai Host membuatnya begitu bersemangat hingga memutuskan untuk segera kembali ke Jepang dengan penerbangan tercepat. Angin musim dingin menyambut Tamaki saat pemuda itu menjejakkan kaki kembali ke Narita. Bersama sahabat-sahabat yang kembali bersamanya, si pirang siap menyambut kehidupan barunya di Jepang dan memutuskan untuk kembali mencoba bekerja sebagai Host di HMC.
