Also legit my computer is so goddamn slow!! I'm probably not even going to use a computer next year for high school, just because the one that I would have to use is kinda shitty and it needs a new hard drive. My dad's solution is really quite NOT simple. 1) Buy a new hard drive. 2) Give it to my mom. 3) Give mom's old hard drive to me. Does that require any explanation?? That is just not a good plan. I'm planning on actually just using an older iPad Pro or perhaps the newer iPad 6, which would have much more storage (about 128GB) and would be compatible with an Apple Pencil (or other bluetooth-connectable pencil tool) and a bluetooth keyboard.
Even though I'm not necessarily happy with my parents, one good thing happened - I got 2 weeks of a trial period, with no bedtime whatsoever. I'm not taking this as if I have a party in my bedroom every night, because I don't. For me, this means that I can go to bed when I want to go to bed and I don't get any flak for it. The only downside is that I can't say that I'm tired to my parents. (See above for more details on that.)
Last update: Moodpath gave me its first official report, and it came back clean. No indications for symptoms of depression. I'm happy about that, because it just means that I get sad and dragged into a poor mood more often, but that it shouldn't be too much of a concern. The two Moodweeks that it has given back to me also look promising, with most moods varying in the "Good" to "Very Good".
I'm happy that I have friends though, especially Andrew and Naomi, who can help me out when I'm not feeling great and can always make me feel better. I feel sometimes that they are the only two who care, sometimes more than my parents (even though that's not true most of the time). I'm very blessed to have such a supporting and loving friend group.
