All Students must provide:
Official copies of high school or GED transcripts
Official copies of their transcripts from any college/university attended
Transcripts are considered official when received in a sealed envelope mailed directly from the high school or college. HCC is not permitted to accept transcripts that have been opened by the student.

Note: Failure to provide an official copy of your high school transcript or GED scores and your postsecondary transcripts by the payment deadline, results in classification as a non-degree-seeking student until transcripts are received. Non-degree-seeking students are not eligible for financial aid or veterans benefits.

First-Time College Students: Request that your high school transcripts or GED scores be sent to the appropriate campus Admissions, Records and Registration (ARR) Office AFTER graduation from high school.Transcripts sent before graduation are considered non-official.
Home Education Students: Must provide official transcripts, proof of county registration of home education program and signed home school affidavit (obtained from campus Admission, Registration and Record office).
Transcripts from Outside the United States: Applicants who have completed academic coursework at a high school or college/university outside the U.S. must submit an evaluation of credits from an approved evaluation agency. Transcript must be translated into English. The National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) provides a list of approved credentialing agencies (naces.org). These transcripts must include:
a document-by-document evaluation (with translation if not in English) for all high school transcripts
a course-by-course evaluation (with translation if not in English) for all college/university transcripts
Transfer Students: Students transferring to HCC from another college or university, or those who already have degrees, should request all postsecondary schools attended be sent to HCC. High school/GED transcripts are not required from students who have completed a prior college degree.
