Narwhal was abandoned on the streets of Missouri. he has been rescued by macs mission a rescue center that looks after animals with disabilities. they named him Narwhal after a whale with a big tusk on its head (see picture below). the tiny tail doesn't seem to cause any problems for Narwhal who behaves just like any other energetic puppy. he has been sent for tests and the vets discovered the tail wasn't connected to anything and doesn't wag. They said there was no need to remove the tail as it caused him no pain. Many fans have offered to adopt Narwhal but the charity said he is not old enough yet. they are going to monitor his tail for a while to make sure it doesn't grow or cause him pain.
