Plagiarism is to steal and pass off the ideas or words of another as one's own to use another production without crediting the source or it also to commit literary theft present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source. Many reasons and factors are attributed for the use of Plagiarism and could be cultural, historical linguistic, environmental and educational background.



My analysis of this case is there's a Writer and Pulitzer that winner for known of the best book roots that his book became famous in miniseries in some haley is trying to steal the book of "The African" later on haley admitted that bookthe of "The African" made by Harold Courlander that he had Plagiarized the work of Harold Courlander



By avoiding Plagiarism we are not saying we should stop getting information from the internet or any other sources, we should give to those who came up with those ideas first by using the tips already mentioned. We should not take without permission what is not ours.



Writer and Pulitzer Prize winner Alex Haley is best known for his book Roots. This book was later turned into a famous miniseries. Haley was accused of taking parts of The African by Harold Courlander and using them in Roots. He was sued in 1978 and eventually admitted that he had plagiarized the information.
