Asked Hop-A-Long about selling the shop etc today. Asked her what she thought about your offer and she didn't even know you offered her money for the shop??? Asked her how badly she wanted to be out of the shop - "Pretty bad" was her response. Kept telling her that the shop would not sell as a business and would turn to flats / houses. After stating facts, she finally agreed - "Yeah, it probably is a long shot that it would sell as a business.". I told her that I thought her brain was damaged after her being in hospital. She's continually repeating the same stuff to me. She finally is saying that she can't run the shop to it's best ability and she "needs help". I told her that the longer the shop is on the market, the more her interest is going up and eventually, it won't be worth selling at the asking price as she'll need more money. I told her that she has too many staff members and she needed to cut down their hours - she claimed that she "tried to cut them down" in December but she wants to try make it fair.
