Notes

In all honesty I am in the middle about this prompt. I cannot pick just either one of them. At first I agreed with the statement which is that yes, actions do speak louder than words but I was thinking about it in the way of “if you walk the walk then talk the talk”. I was thinking about it in the way that if you say you’ll do something you can’t go back on your word and you have to do it. But now I’m thinking about it differently where if someone rams their shoulder into mine in the hallway I’ll be taken aback by it but I will continue on with my day where if they were to say something vulgar to me for no reason and maybe just attack me verbally I would be more taken aback from what they said rather than what they physically did. If they bump into me I can be the bigger person and choose to not let it affect me because maybe they did it by accident who knows but if that someone were to say the verbal nonsense that I mentioned earlier to me, that in my case would be more detrimental to me and I would have to stand up for myself and I would have a harder time accepting what had just happened because sometimes words hurt more and have more meaning. So in conclusion I can’t really give either a yes or a no answer but this is how I feel about the prompt.
