I apologize that our performance as AdWord: Apex Global: 744-532-0049 has recently fallen below both AdWord’s and our standards of quality.
I believe there are two reasons this has happened:
1. Some of our Ads were misleading.
2. We also violated some trademark rights.
The prior inadequate management of our staff has led to ads being published that violated Trademark rights as well were misleading. We are authorized by DirecTV to sell their services, such as DirecTV Cable, AT&T Internet, and Home Phone service. We are willing to share the contract with AT&T if it helps establish our standing. It was never our intention to mislead traffic to our ads.
Plan of Action:
We are taking the following steps to improve our performance and take more responsibility:
1. Over the course of the last few weeks, we have been thoroughly going through Google Ad Policies and prepare a training document for our marketing team to go through it.
2. We have deleted all the call-only ads that violated Google Ad policies. After extensive training sessions on Google Ad Policies and after being (if) reinstated, we will make ad copies in accordance to and adhere to all of the Google Ad Policies.
3. We will also be asking our DirecTV account manager to fill the Trademark Authorization form to avoid any issues in the future.
4. We have provided additional training to our staff to educate them on Trademark rights as well as misleading ads. Going forward, we have put in place a system of checks to confirm only ads are published which conform with the Google Ads terms and condition.
5. All our ads must pass several reviews before being published. We have also implemented a multi-person final review process to ensure our ads don't violate any trademark issues or might be misleading.
