'gaseous dihydrogen monoxide can cause severe burns'. That is actualy true, since water turns into a gas when it is heated up at a very high temperature. The boiling point of water is 212 degrees, when it's in direct contact with your skin it can and will cause severe burns.
the website says in it's list of dangers, that dihydrogen monoxide 'Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.' That is also true, since water, when in constant contact with metal can cause it to oxidize and rust. But they say it in a way that makes 'dihydrogen monoxide' look like a dangerous chemical.
Another scare tactic is: the website states that water is 'the single most commonly used chemical in the production of milk. Cows are encouraged to ingest large quantities of DHMO, '
Another joke is that 'Purchasing DHMO-free milk is a good alternative for those who are worried about the lack of DHMO regulations in the dairy industry, suggests Waltz'
In this, they're referring to milk powder.
They're sneaky in where they hide their information about DHMO. For instance, the site says 'Research has shown that significant levels of DHMO were found in the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 which killed 230,000 in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and elsewhere, making it the deadliest tsunami in recorded history'. If someone doesn't know that dihydrogen monoxide was water, they'd think that DHMO was a dangerous chemical
