Hello everyone, welcome to the Elements, a Minecraft server based off of a Minecraft mini game that I made in 2012. So, back when I originally started playing Minecraft, so around 2010 or 2011, I played Minecraft on my family laptop, it was pretty epic but then eventually Minecraft started oofing itself so when we got a new laptop, we used said new laptop to play Minecraft, this laptop ran the game pretty well but ended up getting a virus or something and it just never worked afterwards. Eventually I got my own laptop on my birthday and I tried to play Minecraft but it didn't work due to this being around the time in which you had to switch accounts from Minecraft to Java, so after some time I found out this was the case and I ended up trying to transfer accounts, this didn't work, but during this time I had gotten a PS3 that had Minecraft on it so I decided to play on that instead, it was pretty fun and one of the first worlds I created was a competition between my brother and I, we competed to see who could make the better adventure map/minigame, my brother built an interesting roller coaster and I made a minigame called "Battle of the Elements", this minigame involved several different elements, these included fire, water, wind, and many others. And chests were scattered around the map, each containing one of the many elements, and they also came with some diamonds, which diamonds were the currency of this minigame. So anyway, I "won" the competition and decided to make a full version of the minigame, said version was massively updated and instead of having a normal map that had a shop in which you could buy things using diamonds and the chests scattered around, now this new updated version had the chest still scattered, but the chests that had a lapis block under them signified that they had no element and instead a ton of diamonds. This new updated map was a city containing many houses, a shop, and a spawn in the sky, along with that, this new map had new elements such as lightning and metal, it also put some of the elements into special buildings that would need some sort of hidden item or something else to use, such as the house of night and the house of nature, both structures required an item to open that was hidden inside of one of the chests. To continue on, after making this minigame and playing it with my friends many times, I took a long break from Minecraft and I just returned to Minecraft this August. I made a third version of the Battle of the Elements mini game and it introduced some new elements, greatly balanced all of the elements, and it also improved the shop and spawn a decent amount. This iteration of the mini game focused more on balance as opposed to adding new content, but new elements were still added and previous elements were reworked into new ones, such as the element of night becoming the element of dark. After this, I then made a new survival world on my PS3 with the theme of Battle of the Elements, and not many people played it but the few who did enjoyed it so I thought about what if I could make this into a server. After this, I took another break from Minecraft and just like I had been doing before that summer, I continued to play Apex Legends and CS:GO, but then one day I decided to buy another Minecraft PC account and upon doing so, soon after I used my Minecraft free trial realm to make the Elements server, and from there, many new people joined the server. Once the free trial ended, I then made a free aternos server, invited more people, and that is where we stand now. Currently a dedicated server is planned, and will be made using a desktop computer that I'm planning on buying. I apologize for making this so long, but to everyone that read it, thank you.
