"SymmetricDS was originally built to replicate to and from 1000s of databases and is in use by many Fortune 500 retailers. Its forte is scalability and data portability. Over 20 databases are currently supported. The most popular databases are SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and Postgres. The software itself is over a decade old at this point so it is very mature. SymmetricDS does install database triggers, so your use case needs to be able to account for the additional impact database trigger will have on your database. SymmetricDS is available as open-source software under the GPL 3.0 license but also has a professional version. The project is still very active and releases are made on a frequent basis."

BIG CONS: no real-time replication. only near-real time possible, so no use in case of persisting bet slips or other transaction like payments. Fine for data read (and storing less dynamic data like cms, non-live markets etc)
