Şimdiki zaman kullanıldığında:

Geçmiş zaman kullanıldığında

Konjunktiv 2'da geçmiş zaman yapılırken yan cümle var ise, yardımcı fiilin Konjunktiv 2 hali en sona değil, fiil grubunun başına gider:
z.B.: Ich weiß nicht, wie man das anders ''hätte'' machen können.

Der Patient wird von dem Chirurgen operiert. (Infinitiv)
