As I go to bed and look up at my roof, I think of my future and how it will be. I imagine myself still being me and not ending up anywhere but in a pile of solitude. I didn't expect I'd get love, money, or a good life at all. I honestly thought I'd die too soon before I could see my future.
That was, until you came in my life. It felt like a miracle somewhat. Like God had decided to try to make me go towards him by giving me someone to adore and think about. That someone was you, Caroline, you were the person I thought of who somewhat would light up my future. You were someone who lifted me up after a terrible day. With your sweet and calm smile, I feel better looking at you. I know I may be blank, but I can't help but smile after seeing you happy. I don't want someone like you being sad because seeing you sad hurts me.
I don't wanna see someone who made me better be brought down by others. Which is why I began to defend you and take your side on things. Even though I may not be helping much, I try to help. There are things I cannot help heal or assist with but I will help from a distance. You provided with me a meaning and hope in my life, now I'd like to return the favor.
Either problem or not. Caroline, I want to be by your side. I want to be someone who cares and gives you love in the worst situations. Even if I don't help, I'll pray to God that he helps you as well. I know you may not accept me as your lover, but I will still be gladly friends with you and someone who can watch over you somewhat from a distance.
