Notes

My name is Melanie Franta but most people call me Mel. And yes, my brother is the "famous" Connor Franta. I wish he wasn't famous though. I have always wanted to live a normal life. My parents had to pull me out of high school in sophomore year because people tried to stalk me to find out where Connor lived and we had to move. I try to stay out of Connor's youtube life. I don't have any social media and I always turn down Connor's offers to be in his videos. Not that many of Connor's fans know that I exist and I would love to keep it that way but it will be hard since my parents are sending me to live with Connor, Ricky, Kian, and Jc in the O2L house. I've never met the boys but I have seen a couple of Ricky Dillon's youtube videos. He is hilarious! I am not that excited to move to the O2L house but I have no other choice.
"Mel! Hurry Up!" I hear Connor scream from his car. I take on last glance at myself in the mirror and sigh, lugging my suitcase out the door. I am wearing light-washed jean high waisted shorts and a white lace crop top with a flannel wrapped around my waste. Connor takes my bag and throws it in the trunk while pull my dark hair in a messy bun. Me and Connor don't look very alike besides our bright green eyes. Connor is older than me by 3 years. He is 21 whereas I am 18. Connor gets in the car, breaking me out of my thoughts. "Are you excited for California?" I nod and smile while he drives us to the airport. As soon as we get there, Connor is bombarded with fans. I awkwardly stand aside and take our bags to the check-in.
After 25 minutes, I start to get frustrated because we might miss our flight and interrupt them. "Me and Connor have to leave!" I yell, realizing how mean that sounded after it left my mouth but I take no words back. Connor and I walk away from the fans but I hear someone say, "Who was that dumbass whore?" as we leave. I know Connor heard it too but I pretend I didn't hear it and keep walking feeling the tears threaten to spill.

Connor pays the taxi driver while I walk up the driveway to the O2L home. I knock on the door and a tall guy with brown/blonde hair opens it. I recognize him as Ricky. "Hey! You must be Melanie. Connor told us about you."
"Yupp thats me," I say with a smile. I walk inside as he helps Connor grab our bags. I hear talking in the kitchen so I walk there to introduce myself. "Hi! I'm Melanie," I say but then I realize that I just walked into his video. "Oh. I'm so sorry," I quickly say pointing to the camera.
