Apex Legends Shadowfall Mode Tips (EVERYTHING You Need to Know to Win)

we'll be going over 10 quick tips for the new Shadowfall Mode that came out yesterday,
and everything you need to know to win in this gamemode, these are in no particular order

#1 if you didn't already know, Shadows basically have permanent Bloodhound Ultimate, so the shadows
see Legends that are alive in bright red, smoking and blinding effects don't do effect them, only Mirage's
Ultimate makes it so you can't be seen by Shadows

#2 Shadows do 158 damage each melee they hit on you, and they can lunge pretty far with their melee attack,
never try to melee them back, they'll basically just one shot you if you aren't full health with at least Blue or better armor

#3 Shadows only have 40 health, don't be afraid to spray and pray or abuse grenades on them, even a few long distance taps
can take one out

#4 if you didn't know, Shadows can also see where all kills and deaths happen on their HUD, and they spawn where the old Jump Towers
were, so they'll basically always be dropping on top of you

#5 when you get to the final 10 legends left and it goes to the Evac Phase, watch where the other 9 legends are, i'd suggest
not always staying together or following them, a lot of the time legends end up losing because nobody gets to the Evac Ship,
so please if you want to win as a Legend, be aware of where and when the Evac ship takes off, cause even if you're alive but
don't make it onto the Evac ship, you lose.

#6 getting into the legends you should and shouldn't pick, to go over it quickly, mirage
is basically the best legend you can pick for this gamemode, specifically for escaping the Shadows,
because mirage's Ultimate like i said earlier, is the only time Shadow's can't see you, so you can just
camp outside the Evac zone, use your Ult, and sprint right into the Ship

#7 a few other Legends that are good for Shadowfall are Pathfinder, Wraith, and Wattson.
Pathfinder obviously because of his grapple and his Ultimate, which can even help your teammates.
Wraith because she can dodge shadows easier than other Legends with her abilities, but she isn't some cheat code to win.
Wattson is really good in this gamemode, but hard to use, really good at fending off multiple Shadows at once, but doesn't have
the most mobility.

#8 a few Legends that you should stay away from in this gamemode, even if they're your main,
Lifeline, her abilities basically are the opposite of what you want in Shadowfall, nothing movement oriented and
you have to wait around with her abilities which obviously leaves you vulnerable to Shadows.
Bangalore, her smoke ability doesn't work against Shadows, end of story.
Crypto, you control your drone while leaving your character basically AFK, practically useless in this gamemode.
Not saying you can't win with these legends, just that it might be easier to use other legends.

#9 some weapons you should use are the Spitfire, big magazine and deals out a lot of damage
the R301, easier to control recoil and has a fast rate of fire and good damage at range,
and the Devotion with turbocharger, again big magazine and puts out a lot of damage so you
can take out multiple shadows without having to reload

#10 lastly, a couple weapons you should stay away from are things like Peacekeeper,
if you miss one shot you're pretty much screwed. The Longbow, low rate of fire and you gotta be accurate,
overall pretty bad for the average player trying to handle 3 or 4 shadows sprinting at them at the same time.
