Today I and Ahnyeon met at the Global Cafe for our sixth meeting, because I had to meet an Indonesian friend first. I was a little late to come there. almost 30 minutes I came late. Today, I and Ahnyeon will discuss a culture from our respective countries, because I and Ahnyeon have a 2-year adrift, so we are discussing about a dating culture. there are some uniqueness that I found while discussing this talk. In my country Indonesia has a prohibition that a woman should not express her feelings first, because the degree of women will go down, therefore it is very rare for Indonesian women to confess their feelings first, but Ahnyeon told me that in Korea it is a common thing, and women are may tell the feeling first. at first I felt strange because I grew up in Indonesia with existing cultures, but after listening to some explanations I felt that the results were quite reasonable, and in fact Indonesia also used this culture although not so much as in Korea, Ahnyeon also told some interesting stories which she told me while living in the US. I also told things that I had experienced before. because ahnyeon has a more mature age than me she gave a lot of advice to me, our conversation today is very interesting and fun, i think Ahnyeon is an adult figure, like my sister.
