Plot
Aaron met a beast and saved by Gareth. Gareth told him he was in the Black Forest. Aaron admired Gareth's sword which he named Tyrfying.
= Bounded Arc: The Simulation Dream
Troubadour's Ballad
The key: The Troubadour is an NPC and his empty book is where the mosaic is hidden. This world was a world after apocalypse, so he doused himself and everyone who hid in it. He wants to protect that world at any cost, so he is then corrupted.
The Diamond Lake
The key: A giant oyster which was trying to ease its pain being mistaken as aquatic dinosaurs. Its pearl is the mosaic.

Scythian Mountain
A group of their newly-acquainteds got lost in the Scythian Mountain. The only sore survivor (Lily) begged them to find the bodies. Whilst investigating the scene, they fought a native tribe. Zaldra only wanted to bury the bodies properly, but Gareth and Lily needed the cause. So they went there again, they fought that beast again with help from the tribe. Lily then tried to murder Zaldra, saying that killing Zaldra will grant the mosaic in that conscious. Later the crew fought Lily, The Beast and the Tribe.
'Gareth, you must kill me. Just think of me as the Witch that hoaxed your father.'
'If it means killing you, I'd rather be trapped here forever.'
Finally, Zaldra set up a manslaughter trick. Gareth opened the door by throwing boxes underwater, one contained Zaldra. She drowned, Gareth is granted the last missing mosaic. Grieving, but he finished the Grand Mosaic.
He then taken to a Colisseum, to fight the Flaming Tiger. He spared the Tiger's life, so he is granted another wish. Gareth wished for Zaldra's revival first, but then it couldn't be granted, so he wished for her to be 'like she is in this world'. The tree granted him a bottle of glowing liquid.
When the two of them get out of Ashbrittle, they found a dead body hold a small child protecting its from a beast. Gareth swung the sword and saved the child, only to find out the beast is in fact Zaldra.

= Unbinding Arc
Gareth brought the half-transformed Zaldra to Valhalla, following the bottle's guide. When he screamed 'Please save Zaldra', the Maestro opened the gate and take them in. He restored all her memory with the bottle, whilst revealing they had been in a relationship before - much to his dismay.
The Maestro then explained: Zaldra traded something precious for her death, which was her memory. She woke up and Gareth started complaining, but eventually managed to give her the ring.
They departed, with Gareth holding Naki. Gareth brought Naki to his mother who happily accepted Naki. Mother told him that King had passed away and now Marcus is the King. Gareth then went to the Royal Palace for report on Eden. Marcus went with him to **, a land filled with snow and ice in northeast Arevelk. When he returned, his mother got arrested for nursing Naki. He got to the Jail and saved them both. Then he brought them to Zaldra, who let them stay in her house in Vesperios. Now Gareth was a criminal, she went to Valhalla to ask for solution. Gareth questioned her about her relationship with the Maestro, to which she refused to tell him everything. There the body was discovered, she received his dying messege and she was arrested. Then she was jailed. Zaldra sent a letter from prison to Gareth, but it was stopped. Luckily when the Valkyrie reached her mansion, no one was 9there cause Maika moved them to the orphanage.
At the orphanage Gareth set to rescue Zaldra from her execution. He saved her in the public, under a mask. When they got back to the Harebell, Maika had been staked by the Valkyrie, Aaron, Naki and Gareth's mom were mourning. Zaldra went rampage when a visitor came, it was Sehayle - Gareth's long term friend. She came with an amnesty paper for Gareth and his mom, as the annual Commemoration Day was drawing near. Sehayle noticed Zaldra and questioned Gareth about her.
Sehayle said she couldn't and wouldn't accept that Gareth had romantic feelings for Zaldra. She had been there all the time, yet not even once did he turn his head to acknowledge her feelings. Then she told him first love never works out, which angered him. Naki appeared and told her to stop being so petty about that. Sehayle stormed away after threatened Naki.
Naki then asked Gareth what was he going to do now, with himself, Zaldra and their relationship. Gareth then said Naki reminded him of his father. He wanted to visit his grave. Naki then told him to have his priority right, as his choice influences her love life. Then she revealed Zaldra was Aaron's first love.
Meanwhile Zaldra sought to avenge the Grand Valkyrie, Brünhilde. Aaron convinced her to stop, but she would only stop after talking to Gareth's mom, and later to him. He convinced her to go to Com. Ball with him, in spite of the fact that she would have to practice concealing magic to bypass the barrier.

To fight Euryale, Zaldra sacrifired herself as the vessel and used Chrysalis as a catalyst to summon Ruyi's half.
Ruyi won, and reversed all the damage. But Zaldra's magic source has drained. She died in Gareth's arm.
Rodinia kingdom returned to their original shape, and now under Ruyi's protection.
Gareth rules as its king, he never remarries.
Aaron becomes its General. Nari becomes Valhalla's Maestra.
A statue of Zaldra is placed in the Palace's yard.
The novel ended with the ring of Zaldra sparkled.
