I would like to study Business studies level 3 BTEC at KSA Sixth Form. I remember in year 9 when I first heard about business being one of the options we could study in year 10, I was so curious I asked the year above if they recommended the subject. They told me it was one of the most down to earth subjects that you can study, and they were not wrong. The content I learnt in year 10 may have been very difficult but it was intriguing and I don't regret that one year of studying business at all. Although I chose to drop it in year 11, I feel like this time I will be more motivated to succeed as it will be the one subject that has my undivided attention. Throughout year 10 and 11, English as a collective was one of the subjects that I enjoyed the most, and my grades throughout that year and a bit has reflected that. English is one of the subjects with compliment Business studies which is why I feel as if I will be successful in it, just like I am in English currently. Business studies links to my future ambitions as once I have finished my studies I intend to work in the finance or retail sector, and eventually work as a banker or accountant if I am lucky. Business studies will help me to achieve that as one of the topics in the curriculum is finance which, when I was studying Business, was one of my favourite topics. I am passionate about extended my learning experience in KSA by attending your sixth form because I have been here from the start. For 11 consecutive years I have been learning and working hard in this school, so why stop now? Not only that, but I want to strengthen the relationships I currently have with my teachers. I feel as if that if my relationship with the teachers are strong, I will learn more and be more engaged in their lessons. In addition to this, I have grown up with the majority of the class of 2022 and the friendships we all have built with each other are very strong, if we was to continue building on our friendships, it will make our learning space a better environment to work in. In year 10, I had a work experience placement with the Multiplex project, in this placement, I was put in a group of 8. In this group of 8 we had to work together, some in pairs some as individuals, to make a presentation. This presentation was later presented in the university of UCL where we had to compete with several other schools in the Multiplex project. During the long and hard five days we had to complete and perfect the presentation, we had the privilege to visit Wembley stadium where we got to practice performing our presentation. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Presentations are a form of coursework, which is part of how Business Studies is assessed, therefore I am now experienced in that sector. To conclude, I feel as if I will be a great and exceptional student in KSA's sixth form because I have the right aspirations and intentions to do well and seize the opportunities given to me.
