Intellectual empathy is the first trait that can be given with this activity. Basically this idea is about creating idea and listening others ideas with respect. At the second phase of this activity students needs to share and listen ideas to reach one ortak idea. At the third phase the student will hear similiar ideas or very different ideas in both cases the student will try to understand that idea which will give him a perspective of others.

Intellectual courage is the second trait. Speaking in front of others requires courage with this activity the student will need to create an idea and share it even sometimes defend his or her ideas. Others may want to learn why did the student thought like that and requires him to explain his idea
It is pretty normal that having a comment about the idea you heard and sharing your comment.

Intellectual autonomy is the third trait
Even though the activity is a pair work it requires one to think and create an idea all by himself then share and compare his idea.

It is a great addition for T.E.S because it contains critical thinking and collabaration which T.E.S system doenst have. This new traits will give student a chance to speak share and listen other beside teacher
