I am writing to express my interest for the phlebotomy position your are hiring for. Over winter of 2018, I completed 166 hours of phlebotomy clinical work at the KY Clinic, located in Lexington, Ky. I believe I am qualified for his position. Although, I only have experience of 166 clinical hours, I am great when it comes to venipuntcures, making the patient feel comfortable under my care, and finishing the procedure in a timely manner. During clincals I made sure to always be on time no matter the distance, came in with a positive attitude, and might I say was the fastest student phlebotomist out of all students. Over the course of 2 months working at the KY Clinic, I managed to get 548 venipunctures, my youngest patient was 7 years old and my eldest patient was 94 years old. I have no problem calming or taking control over a nervous, angry, or syncope patient as well as comforting the disabled. I do my absolute best at meeting my patients needs, and needs of my boss/co-workers.
