RESEARCH TOPIC:- NETWORK SECURITY
Network security is a broad term that covers a multitude of technologies, devices and processes. In its simplest term, it is a set of rules and configurations designed to protect the integrity, confidentiality and accessibility of computer networks and data using both software and hardware technologies.
BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION :-
I already learned about the following basic topics who help to learn NETWORK SECURITY:-

5. Gateways
6. CSU/DSU (Channel Service Unit/Data Service Unit)
7. NICs (Network Interface Card)
8. ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) adapters
9. WAPs (Wireless Access Point)
10. Computer lab and lab setup
11. Network communication and transmission media
12. Multiplexing
13. Modulation
14. Multiplexing
15. Public switched telephone network.
AIMS AND OBJECTS:- By the end of this course,
● describe computer networks in terms of a five-layer model.
● understand all of the standard protocols involved with TCP/IP communications.
● grasp powerful network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
● learn network services like DNS and DHCP that help make computer networks run.
● understand cloud computing, everything as a service, and cloud storage.
METHODOLOGY:-
Doing a 3 month deep learning of basic networking in NPTEL I can understand what the main thing is in.
For an advance level of network security I learn “ CompTIA Security+ All-in-One Exam Guide, Fifth Edition (Exam SY0-501) “.
“Hacking version 10”book also help to secure network.
On amazon or other sites many books for deep knownledges are available.
