I felt I did well for at least the first half of the test. Towards the end, I began to lose track of time and rushed myself.
I found the second-to-last question hardest. I had confused the equations, and it took me quite a while to understand that one equation in the system was to focus solely on the number of bills – not the value of the bills.
I think there was too much content on the test for the amount of time given – maybe one or two fewer questions in the future would be optimal?
Unit 3 Launch:
I am most confident in being able to form a full equation when only given fragments.
I am not exactly the best at drawing straight lines on a graph, even with a ruler. If there are any occasions where I find the equation but have a graphing error, will the error be reflected on my score for the problem?
Formulas: y2 - y1 over x2 - x1 = slope
When given a point and the slope, I am uncertain of an equation but I can definitely solve. If I was to write it, it would resemble a college
application essay.
To find when given two points, use the above equation to find slope then use this for the y-intercept. y - mx = b
