today we've got the first of more to come Apex Legends Dev Podcast video, answering community
questions and giving lots of new info about apex, it'll be linked down in the description
we've got the firing range coming season 3 (possibly next week?)
- it's going go from being called training mode, to firing range, as you can see i've got gamemplay for you guys
- you'll be able to change legends, currently you can only play as lifeline
- finally you'll have the option of using all guns, as well as attachments and ammo items (body shield, phoenix shield)
- letting you know that this is not a new playlist, its training ground update now called firing range
- the firing range shows the charge rifle nerf as you can see in the gameplay, you wont start with 4 shots with basic mag, as you can see, instead you will have 3 shots, each costing 3 energy and you'll start with a clip of 9 energy. basically the nerf lowers the starting ammo capacity by one, full credit to iLootGames for this picture, his twitter linked below
- they're adding dummys u can shoot and practice your aim on
- the dummys can also have armor if you'd like
- u can use all legends abilities, like pathfinder you'll be able to practice your grapples
creates new place to experiment and add on,
- you'll be able to play with teamates in firing range, which is super exciting and cool to see for the pro scene especially
- firing range is for sure coming in season 3, not specific date but my guess is within the next few weeks
- you'll be able to switch legends at any time in game, you won't have to respawn
