Alchemy: Tradisi Mengubah Benda Menjadi Emas
Alchemy adalah tradisi filosofis dan protosaintifik yang dilakukan di Eropa, Afrika, dan Asia.
Tradisi ini biasanya bertujuan untuk mengubah benda-benda menjadi logam mulia emas.
Praktik alchemy ini disinyalir tidak hanya dapat digunakan untuk membuat emas, tapi juga membuat panacea yang mampu menyembuhkan penyakit dan dapat digunakan oleh alkhaest untuk melarutkan semua benda, Alchemy sendiri dapat juga digunakan untuk membuat ramuan obat mujarab keabadian yang dapat membuat manusia hidup abadi.
Lalu apakah ramuan obat mujarab keabadian itu sudah ada? Jawabannya adalah belum. Karena para praktisi alchemy ini sampai saat ini belum berhasil menemukan satu substansi penting yang dibutuhkan untuk pembuatan ramuan ini. Yaitu batu yang disebut-sebut di dalam buku Harry Potter: Batu Bertuah.
