1. Kata teater sendiri berasal dari kata theatron (θέατρον) dari bahasa Yunani, yang berarti "tempat untuk menonton. Teather adalah istilah lain dari drama, tetapi dalam pengertian yang lebih luas, teater adalah proses pemilihan teks atau naskah, dan penyajian penikmatan dari publik atau pirsawan
