Geogrephy: A group of people settled in the region that is now known as Nubia and they lived to the south of Egypt and along the nile. These people were actually thr first people to establish a large kingdom in Africa.
How did we get it's name: The reason why and how we know it is called ancient kush is that the ancient Egyptians gave it that name
The land of Kush: Most of the land in Nubia is covered in desert but in the times of the ancient kush people the land was a lot more fertile. Due to many heavyrains it flooded the nile every year. It also had a rich and vast amount of having valuable minerals for example gold, copper and stones. Due to Nubia having a rich amount of valuable minerals it contributed towards their wealth. In this territory, the people of anicent kush settled.
How did Kush become Kush: Well there were of course villages. In those villages lived farmers who would sell their stock and they became richer and then became leader of a village. When he obtained more power by money the person started to gain control of other villages which then would lead up to the person being a leader of many villages and renaming it to Kush.
