I do plan on doing what I can to be prepared for the roles in my position, is there any support I will get as far as training goes or will it be independent?
-as much as they can directly be trained ideally
-learn to do them with help and support and feedback
-important to notice things, and like working with your hands and be able to troubleshoot on the fly

I noticed the last few published papers focus on prediction and processing of self generated sensory movement in electric fish, but you mentioned mouse colony management? Where do you plan to guide the research as far as using the information for mice?
Is there a lot of interaction as far as discussion goes between grad students or are they pretty independent from each other?
