Consistently above team average bug input (quality bugs)
• Be in the top 10% testers in the team on bug entry
• 50% lower chaff rate expectations than QA Tester
• Weighted bug average is consistently higher than regular QA Tester average within the team
Ability to test any aspect of the game and quickly adapt to new assignments
• Ability to meet and exceed project expectations within 2 weeks when moved to a new assignment
• Ability to find bugs when assigned to a new area/doing fresh eyes testing
Ability to accurately complete test cases
• 0% incorrect test case completion rate
Perform exploratory testing in a productive manner
• Top 10% bug input while performing ad-hoc (exploratory) testing
• Ad-hoc (exploratory) weighted bug count is consistently higher than an average QA Tester
• Full and complete ad-hoc testing notes provided to his manager
• Ability to multitask and efficiently combine free testing with scripted testing
Pro-activeness in dealing with tasks or team assignments
• Once assigned a test focus, acts independently to gather knowledge and resource to complete them as accurately and efficiently as possible
• Ability to perform risk based testing it
Willingness to share knowledge
• Demonstrable increased performance for the testers within his sphere of influence
• Provides documented feedback on training/onboarding process
• Overall reduction in feature/area of ownership chaff rate year over year across all tester
Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with Studio partners
• Proven ability to provide constructive feedback on their assignment to their manager
• NMI rate lower than 10%
Leads by example
• Consistently exemplifies EA values
• Consistently follows all EABR policies and procedures
• Consistently demonstrates a positive and professional attitude
• Seen by project management team as the go-to person within their teams by other testers
