douglas of the north wanted a railroad to wewstcoast but then the gov was liek u need to make the territory west of missouri oopen to slave. so he was liek ye k so imma just make the kansas nebraska so there is kansas and nebraska in louisiana and they both r pop sovernity. so then the peepes in noth got mad bc nebraska na dkan r in NORTH terriotory not supposed to be slave but the ppl cna vote on slavs??/ so then the south oppl r cheaters so they especially the Missoui ppl traveled to the kanasas cast vote for pro slavery so legislature was pro slavery in kansas. the north peeps got mad and were like bro imma just make another gov in topeka bc i hate u and my gov is gonna be against ur ideas and for no slavery. so then they both got angry and a constitutional comiotee tried to see who legit but the fed gov disagreed that south not legit so they battled and basiclaly they divided the nation of kansas and bleeding texas began when north and south hate each other and wnna battle.


ok so dred scott was a black slave in missouri and his owner was army surgeon john emrson so they went to wisconsin and lousiana territoey which were free places so scott was like bruh im free bc im in free terriory so u need to let me go...and he sent the stuff to sue in Missouri court. lower court beleived he was right but missouri supreme was like nOooOOo. So south was like we need to solve dis so basiclaly only citizens can sue so the court ned to see if u black is cit and also the court can see if having u on free land make u free and then the court can also decide if its constituional to prohibit slavery in lousisiana purchase. k so rober B Taney of court was like k BRO u black mang im racist af im imma lil bish so im just riling that black ppl r not citizens no matter what its in constituiton so you cant sue and u on free land dont make u a citizen k? oh and the missouri compromise is not right bc slavery can exsist in the louisiana purchase sooo.... so this ru,ling supported the south of pro slavery so obviously they liked the plan but the north hated it bc obvi. and so the court popularity declinesd in north and the status of the african americans no matter free or whatever r not citizens and so theri status declined from there and they're basically ke property so thats sad.
